Jaguar
is a British heritage luxury brand that has been around for a long time,
competing in the luxury space with Mercedes Benz. Growing up in the 1970’s,
making toy wire cars, it was one of those that was mentioned by older siblings
as they ‘drove’ around. It was also ‘automatic’, as they would proudly say,
‘Jaguar automatic’. In Shona, however, it was ‘Jaguar mutomato’.
Jaguar
is a luxury brand of Jaguar Land Rover, owned by Tata Motors since 2008. Being
a luxury brand, the cars are equipped with big, powerful engines. Luxuries
abound. Jaguars are basically about style and performance. Don’t buy them if
you can’t afford to own them!
After
a bit of a lull, Jaguars are truly and presently back, with a choice of brand
new cars from franchise holders Croco Motors, and grey imports from Europe and
Asia.
The
